Exhibit 127

This picture was taken in a rather makeshift studio – my small attic room in west London, with a domestic spotlight from Habitat, a roll of drafting paper I’d splattered with ink, a 1940’s wedding dress from a jumble sale and lastly a willing and rather classically beautiful friend who acted as my model. The result (and no doubt my aim at the time) was the recreation of the black and white Hollywood portraits made in the 1920’s, 30’s and 40’s.
