Portrait taken a few years ago of the Welsh painter, Kevin Sinnott in his home, a converted chapel. There was bright sunlight that day and I noticed how the intense shadow of from an arched window created a dramatic framing device.
This photo was taken inside an old building in France. I asked my husband to stand behind me and raise his hands creating the faint shadow.
Early morning in Madrid – the sun is still low in the sky and the shadows are long. The brightly coloured t.shirts and the yellow refuse bin add life to the picture.
